Note: There are plenty of gravel bicycles on the market that actually are roadies with clearance for wide tyres. When creating Effugio our family’s goal was to machine the most versatile frame possible, which would be simple to maintain and which would be comfortable enough for those really long journeys, we're talking cross-continental adventures! And we believe that we've finally created a gravel grinder that ticks all the boxes. This beauty allows you to run a 2x12 or 1x12 drivetrain, with the interchangeable PARAGON Rocker dropout inserts you can run it singlespeed or even ROHLOFF/ALFINE, and the splitter on right chainstay allows entrance of a belt drive. Also, the headtube is machined to accommodate any fork in 1.25” or 1.5” or even a classic 1 1/8” by swapping the headset lower part. If we're talking about comfort, there's no doubt that titanium is the best material to be used for long rides on mixed terrain, but we wanted to add even more to that. The curvy toptube and seatstays design isn’t only for good looks – It also absorbs all of the gravel road buzz and together with a 40C tyre, you’ll feel like you're floating on a cloud. If you find yourself in a situation where you need to tweak or fix something on the side of the road during your travel, the frame features external brake and derailleur routings for easy maintenance. And then we even thought about all your belongings on the journey and added eyelets for the rear carrier, so it's ready for bikepacking! Also, we imagine that it will be used for long adventure rides, so to keep you hydrated there's a third bottle cage mount below the downtube.
